A Fool in the Shadow of the Night

A fool in the shadow of the middle of the night, ah what a terrible sight, for to see his eyes burn oh so bright, but to know they’ll never see the light, as those demented demons laugh with callous cruel delight, as they watch the fool in the shadow of the middle of the night.

Struggle and toil, oh fool, in the shadow of the middle of the night, let the day bring forth from those eyes in the middle of the night, but know you’ll never see the light.

Mourn and whilt, oh fool in the shadow of the night, as you wander on, past the catacombs of those you loved, for you will never see the light.

But let go, oh fool, and rest once more, in the shadow of the middle of the night.
